Growth verses strain
Hi all
I have a question and its based on the fry I currently have. The Silvers are growing like stink, the Black and Platinum's are not growing as fast yet they have the same water, the same food at the same times ??? Is it me or is there truth in what I suspect

Yep,
Zebra, when homozygous (having two copies of the gene),
Dark, especially when homozygous
Marble (when homozygous)
Pearlscale (when homozygous)
pb (when homozygous)
& albino (when homozygous)
are all reckoned to slow growth, especially if you try combining several of these into one fish.
blushing (homozygous stripeless) may also grow slightly more slowly.
On the other other hand, smokeys & chocolates seem to grow slightly faster IMO.
Gold, gold marble, ghost (heterozygous - single stripeless), marble (heterozygous), zebra (heterozygous) and streaked don't seem to influence growth rates.
