Yesterday and last night our Angelfish Mia and pumpkin spawned stacks of eggs on a slate,amazing to watch,,hope all goes well as we have decided just to let the proud parents rear them theirselves  Very Happy

Don't be too disheartened, sometimes it can take several attempts before they work out what they should be doing!

Yeah thats what we are hoping,but can you tell me something please....we managed to move several eggs off the slate and put them in a hatchery ,but we don`t know if they will survive for they are just on the floor of the hatchery...what do you think ?

we don`t know if they will survive...what do you think ?
Unlikely, but not impossible.
If possible try to arrange a gentle current past the eggs with a slow running airstone.

Hatchery emptied,eggs were looking fluffy....fingers crossed for next time eh
