How do I post photos please?

How do I post photos please? I gather I need to put them on photobucket, but then which code do I use and how do I present it so you see a picture and not a cut and paste code? I also tried to create an album, the album was created but I couldnt figure out how to put photos in it.

Thank you.
I found that copying and posting the thumbnail image was better as it embedded the image in the post. The direct gives you the link in the post rather than a picture.
