I have a couple of angels that developed black lumps then they turn white also there is a pinkish growth around the gill opening. I have tried treating with copper based medicine, no change. apart from being darker and hiding in the plants they eat well.
the tank is 500 ltrs, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate <5, 2 x 1500ltr filters. all other fish OK 15% water change every week.
Whats wrong with my fish. I have tried to take photo's without success.
can you help me please

Sounds like it might be hole in the head, whereabouts on the head are the holes?
