Better photos of my Angels
Hi,
Managed to get some better photos of my Angels, mastering the camera...but should have cleaned the tank glass better. So hard to take photos as they think they are being fed and go nuts
This is my Leopard (Lace?)l, he was originally damaged in the shop when I got him as the assistant got a little rough catching him, he is doing better now, eyes a lot better but top of gill plate still missing:(
and
These are my Blue Silvers, they got to be my favourite coloured blues, so sparkly! x x x
and
and
These are my three Blue Ghosts, one has beautiful red pigment in his fins, not sure they showing up in the photo?
My Smokey, but he does have patched of blue which are really pretty.
Finally.... My favourite Angels of all, my 'wild Angels' I love them been in the tank only few days but developing beautiful fine green pigments and a red patch behind the top fin which is not coming out particularly well on camera. I phoned the shop today and left a message for the 'guy that buys the fish' to try and find out the collection site. I am going to move them into a tank on there own one I sort it out. They love their food, been eating flake and bloodworms, real characters much more 'relaxed and calm' compared to the others very graceful.

Re: Better photos of my Angels
Nice fish & photos
Still not sure on the first one, definitely a smokey or chocolate leopard (ie it also has a zebra gene), it looks like it may have a dark gene (making it a lace) and the blue round the head means it might well have blue genes in the mix too!
That's going to be a very nice fish when he's larger!

Re: Better photos of my Angels
Thanks Pterophyllum, I think he/she lovely. Its such a shame about the damage which was done to him when I got him, the tip of the gill plate was broken off and you can see his gill underneath and both his eyes were really damaged, luckily the eyes are healed now but the gill is still exposed. I have never had a fish damaged like this before, what do you think the chances are of it growing back? (Its on his other side to the photo). I know I probably should have left him in the shop but I thought getting him better would be well worth the effort. I don't like to use medicines unless completely necessary, just been doing my regular water changes of about 20 to 30% three days a week, they are in a semi-hi tech 300l planted aquarium and the water quality is excellent. Can't wait to see how they mature!
I have a few other tanks and going to turn my 200l Tanganyikan to a Amazon biotope for the Wilds, just working on moving the Neolamprologus brichardi into a different aquarium so they can continue breeding like tribbles OMG do the multiply!

Hard to say, I suspect you may see some growth, but depending on the degree of damage, I suspect full recovery is unlikelywhat do you think the chances are of it growing back?

Thanks again Pterophyllum for your reply. Fingers crossed he recovers enough to stay healthy.
