Albino Dantum WANTED
Been searching a long time for these... I'm ideally looking for a small group of juvenile albino dantum (the albino "Altum x Scalare" from Danziger in Isreal) - willing to meet at the midland auction this weekend if anyone has any as I cannot drive myself and would not want to risk fish in the post... Please contact me if you have any or know of anyone with some so we can arrange something? Also if you could contact me with pictures of the fish that would be helpful
Thanks in advance!

Re: Albino Dantum WANTED
Hi L-o-P,
welcome to the forum
Personally I'm not convinced that these are a true scalare x altum hybrid, but more likely derived from so called Peruvian "Altums", which although very nice fish, are currently considered to be P. scalare.
You might like to take a look at this thread, http://www.uk-angelfishforum.org.uk/t223-wild-type-albinos although they weren't sold as "Dantums", I suspect they're the same thing.

Re: Albino Dantum WANTED
Thanks for the reply. Those are definitely dantums and yeah I'm aware they're a Peruvian cross rather than real Altums as they produce fertile offspring which a hybrid does not by standard definition but they're not always sold as Dantum like in that thread just sold as Altum x.
I would contact OP of the thread but I think that would come off as rude especially if he or she no longer has them.

I'm sure Graham wouldn't mind, he works at Wharf Aquatics so might be able to source some from the same source.I would contact OP of the thread but I think that would come off as rude especially if he or she no longer has them.
