Video of my shop
For those who haven't visited and wonder what my shop's like, thanks to my 14 year old son who filmed and edited a short promotional video, you can now get a flavour of it on You Tube :-
As a bonus, you'll see a few of my angels, hope you enjoy.

Re: Video of my shop
Thats a great video rob & i take my hat off to your son who like you seems to know how to handle a camera & make great use of it.
The shop was realy nice to see as it is a great example of a well established & thought about aquatics centre & from the look of it a well maintaind one too.
I must ask though what Co2 systems do you use as those plants all look stunning. Can you recomend a system for a 400 litre tank & at what sort of price would it be?
As always it was a pleasure to see those angels of yours.

Re: Video of my shop
As a proud parent, I have to say that he seems to have a natural talent when it comes to videoing.your son who like you seems to know how to handle a camera
In my case, you'll notice I don't tend to post videos, and the reason for that is that I'm pretty useless when it comes to taking them, I can't handle the focus, zoom & keeping the camera steady all at the same time!
We were one of the first shops in the UK to do CO2 & have always dealt with Dennerle. They're high quality & easy to adjust & control. There are certainly cheaper systems on the market, but in terms of quality I think Dennerle are hard to beat.I must ask though what Co2 systems do you use as those plants all look stunning. Can you recomend a system for a 400 litre tank & at what sort of price would it be?
For a 400 litre tank, I'd suggest the Space 600 system which we currently have on offer at £299.00 (although, as usual, I'll do a bit of extra discount for forum members!) This is a 2 kg refillable cylinder with regulator with built in shut off valve, in tank CO2 test, diffuser, CO2 proof airline and dennerle fertiliser.
For details of other sets see here http://www.the-aquatic-habitat.co.uk/news/news.htm and click on the special offers button on the left hand side.

Fantastic video Rob! Love the display tanks, especially the marine! The water feature display is also fantastic, wish we had the space to do this, it really helps people visualise the effect.

Hi C8LED,
Yes, I will be there on the 1st.
Is there anything in particular that you're after? I'm expecting that I'll be taking in some youngsters & some adult fish in in the next few days, and if necessary I can put suitable fish by for you.

Re: Video of my shop
Hi Danny,
Took 75 fish into the shop today....
25 adults/young adults including, smokey/chocolate pinoys, smokey/chocolate pinoy paraibas, blue smokey/choclates, plus koi, paraiba koi, smokey blushing veils & a few more besides.
youngsters I took 25 mixed koi/sunsets and 25 assorted blues which include blue smokeys, leopards, chocolates, zebras & marbles (I'm particularly proud of these as most of them have nice wide fins, and the colour, well, you'll see when you visit!)

Re: Video of my shop
I fully agree with you, it is a lovely looking shop. Rob's son has made a very good job of the video. The only problem is that the shop it is not in Yorkshire. Alas its to far for a quick call, but I did manage to give Rob a surprise visit the other year and I was very glad I called in. Only wished I lived nearer. I have promised Rob another visit but this time I'll ring him first.
Promise Rob
