Re: Pinoy or not Pinoy that is the Question
The above 4 fish were bought on saturday for the sum of £5 & as far as im concernd a real bargin as they are 50p body size & have great finnage, then someone on seeing the pics said they are great looking pinoys & until then i hadnt looked at them as anything other than great looking fish with potential.
So what are your thoughts?

Certainly they're a real bargain whatever they are, even in the flesh it can be very difficult to tell young pinoys apart from plain blacks, but to me those look like "hybrid" black ghost (D/g - S/+) or maybe even ghost black lace (D/+ - S/+).

Re: Pinoy or not Pinoy that is the Question
Thanks for the reply Rob,i was leaning towards hybrid black ghosts myself rather than pinoy but whatever they are I cant help but think they were cheap hence why I bought them. They will come in handy with one project or another.
Im sure they will help to provide good finnage in some young at some time & also give up there real make up at the same time.
Looking at them closely they do have a bronze tinge to them & on 1 I can almost make out the markings of a ghost.
The shop they came from also had large very dark black lace adults so they could well be black lace as you also mentioned. I do know they came in on the same order as the adults so it is very probable.
