Wanted: Pinoy Angelfish
I'm trying to source some Pinoys (Zebras, Ghosts or Paraibas). I've kept Angels off-and-on for 20 years but have only very recently discovered these beautiful strains. Are they available over here at all, and if so, where should I be looking? I'm based in West London, by the way.
I should mention that I won't be ready for them for a good few weeks yet; just thought I'd put the feelers out now because they seem rare.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I'm looking again. Somebody contacted me on here last time, and I joined a facebook page as a result of that contact. I can't remember who it is (I think his name was Rob?), I can't find the facebook group and the PMs have disappeared! Can anyone help?

Hi Dogsout,
I'm Rob, and I do have a few pinoys available at the moment. Although at present I don't usually ship, my Mother in Law lives in Kew, so in the past I have been able to arrange to rendezvous to coincide with a visit, the next is likely to be the middle of next month.
At present I only have small ones available at £5.90 each.
Let me know if you want more details.

Hi Rob,
Thanks very much for getting back in touch. What's happened to the facebook group, by the way? I can't find it anymore. I'd certainly be interested in seeing a stock/price list of the Angels you have available. Kew isn't too far from me at all.
Cheers.

OK Current stock :-
Priced at £4.90 each we have :-
Silvers - Grandparents were a female manacapuru & a domestic silver, these are offspring from two sibling pairs, and if they turn out anything like their parents, these will, IMO, be stunning fish!
Koi - young koi from two parents who both carry the Philippine blue gene, so about a quarter are paraiba koi, at this stage I'm not confident which are which.
Smokeys, smokey leopards (smokeys with a zebra gene) and a few other assorted small fish, the majority aren't blue varieties but most will carry the gene.
Priced at £5.90
Assorted blues, mostly blue smokeys, but a few pinoys and blue marbles.
Priced at £7.90, limited numbers of Pinoys and blue marbles, these are larger siblings to the ones priced at £5.90. There are also a few odds & ends in this tank of these a chocolate paraiba & a chocolate leopard veil are probably the most notable.
Priced at £9.90 we have some medium sized veiltails, mostly marbles but also some smokeys, none of these are blues.
Finally we have about 20 assorted adult or young adult fish priced at £19.90 each, there are marbles, smokeys, koi & various others in here, most will carry a blue gene, but with the exception of one paraiba koi, none are homozygous for it.

No young ones at the moment, I might have a few adults available in a week or so, I need to thin my adults out, but haven't decided which ones I can bare to part with yet. When I do I'll let you know.

Re: Wanted: Pinoy Angelfish
Have just brought 26 adults/young adults into the shop, including some blue varieties :-
4 pinoys, one of which is a paraiba veil and one paraiba standard fin.
6 assorted blue marbles including a paraiba female.
Other non blues that came in include marbles, koi, gold marble veils and some of my 50% manacapurus.
We already have about half a dozen blue smokey/smokey leopard adults.
As I mentioned, at present I don't ship, but it's my new year's resolution to sort that out this year, so I'll let you know once I'm able to.

Hi! Sorry to necro the thread but do you currently have/will you have any of the blue strain angels, Pterophyllum? I'm in Staffordshire but if you still don't post I'd travel! :p Looking for 6 juveniles.
