FOR LISA - BLUE KOI PARAIBA
As promised here's some pics of the Blue Koi Paraiba from Lisa. I believe I have a girl. The gold iridescence on the body and bright orange in and around the dorsal knock me out:-

Thats a very interesting coloured fish, really unusual! It'll be interesting to see what it produces.

Lisa has to take the credit, as it's one of her creations.
I'm curious as to why you think it's "a very interesting coloured fish". To me, there's something reminiscent of a Chzech Red.

Okay Rob, can you explain what you think is "remarkable" about this fish.
I would also like to point out that the pictures were taken without flash. The orange has a luminousity all of its own!

You already have....can you explain what you think is "remarkable" about this fish.
The orange has a luminousity all of its own!
I'd also agree
although I've changed the spelling slightlythere's something reminiscent of a Czech Red.
What I'm not so sure on is the "Paraiba" in the title, although having now seen some of John's fish in the flesh, I'll be interested to see what comes out of the next generation when you and Lisa start breeding from them.

I may have identified her wrongly as a paraiba. I have two Blue Koi Paraiba and two Smokey Blue Koi Paraiba from Lisa. I know one of each died from the internal parasite problem, and it is possible one of my other Blue Koi is the Paraiba.
Thanks for the spelling correction. Amazing how I got "reminiscent" correct, but struggled with "Czech". Doh!
