Albinos popping up......
Everyone seems to be aquiring albino angels atm except me........until now. I received 5 from an Israel discus farm, they look to be albino silvers of some sort, time will tell how they turn out.
Then, looking at the wrigglers from the first spawning of 2 koi (het for pb), I'm fairly sure there's albino fry amongst them. As the parents are from one of Kens 'koi paraiba' I can only assume it's the albino gene that ken said may be present in some of his stock. The grandmother to these fry was bred by me and I've never had any albinos in siblings or progeny. I'll know for sure in a few more days.......
Grandfather could now be a/+ - Gm/Gm - S/S - Sm/+ - pb/pb
He's now mated with his daughter M/Gm - S/S - Sm/+ - pb/+, if she carries the albino gene I think I've hit the jackpot !!lol!

Thanks everyone, I've got everything crossed here !
Here's mum and dad
And here's the best I could do for pics of the wrigglers. I'll try again when they're free swimming tomorrow.

Thanks everyone.
Only 9 albinos are still alive, they seem to be doing ok now though. I've put them in their own tank so they don't have to compete with the huge swarm of siblings.

There's a few possibilities with these, as the parents are het for pb there's a chance (slim) that there could be an albino paraiba koi or platinum sunset. I'm not really bothered, anything will do, I'm just glad to have 'made' some of my own albinos!
