Well its the first spawn for me, new pair from LFS (saw tubes down) spawned second day with me, they guarded the eggs, when the wrigglers appeared they seemed a bit confused, picked off the cone and spat onto leaves but fell off etc, can I assume as I can't see anything and they don't seem to be going back anywhere specific they've been eaten?? I want to do a W/C but have been scared incase and wrigglers might be amongst the debris on the bottom? would it be better to just change water and leave debris? or should I assume everything been eaten??

Sounds like they have been eaten if they're not obviously guarding anything, but the good news is it sounds like they're going to get the hang of things fairly soon.
