Nice very nice.
It appears you have a pair.
I hope you have better success in breeding then than I had on wild Angels.

To Rob : " I 'm not sure that these are "rio Nanay " . I have also , their brown spots are larger and back of the body is red .
I think my 2 wild come from " rio Putumayo " .
To wildreddeer : " thank you for your encouragement . I also think it's a couple .

Re: Wild Peru .
Hi Luc,
I certainly wouldn't claim to be an expert when it comes to wild angels, so I'm happy to bow to your knowledge of their provenance.
I wouldn't however consider the size, presence or absence of black spots particularly significant or diagnostic. With wild caught fish in general, as might be expected, there is usually much more
variation from individual to individual than is seen with tank bred fish, and black markings, in my experience are one of the more variable characteristics.
I imported Rio Nanays direct from an exporter in Peru, and mine had few or no black marks, this was one of them :-
and these are some I bred from a female wild caught, and a Czech bred f1 nanay
What is for sure is the similarity of body shape between the Nanays & your Putumayo fish, and that yours are lovely fish
