Re: Wanted! Breeding Pair Angels
Hi & Welcome to the forum,
I do have plenty of pairs, but unfortunately I'm in the wrong part of the UK, (Gloucestershire), hopefully someone lives closer to you and can help, as at present I don't post.

Re: Wanted! Breeding Pair Angels
Thats such a shame!
I do on occasion have to travel to Newport in wales for work so i may be able to arrange something in the future.
Is there a reason why you don't post? apart from the obvious? seems to be getting more and more popular, I have ordered discus from Thailand before, although it was a scare not knowing how they where going to be on arrival.

Is there a reason why you don't post?
The simple reason is it's legally a rather grey area. Strictly speaking the transport of animals act applies to fish :-
https://www.gov.uk/farm-animal-welfare-during-transportation
Journeys over eight hours
If your business transports livestock for journeys totalling more than eight hours, you must hold:
a valid transporter authorisation for long journeys - see the page in this guide on animal transportation documents
valid certificates of competence for drivers and handlers - see the page in this guide on training and competence certification
valid vehicle/container approval certificates - see the page in this guide on the inspection and approval of animal transportation vehicles
For certain long journeys, it’s also a legal requirement for the vehicle to have satellite navigation and a tracking system. See the page in this guide on inspection and approval of animal transportation vehicles.
Most courier/delivery services carrying live fish are probably breaking the law, as in most cases are those who send them.
There are one or two couriers who, I believe, are licenced. Specifically APC who seem to be used by many of the firms who do offer fish by mail order, and many of our suppliers. However when I contacted our local depot they said they don't deal with fish (despite the fact that their vans regularly deliver them to us). I have been meaning to take the matter up with their head office, but for the present at least, we don't ship.
If you are travelling to Newport, it's not too much of a detour to come past us, and it does mean that you get to see the actual fish you're buying!

2 Pairs of Angels to rehome
I am trying to re-home 2x pairs due to the squabbling in a community tank. I have a marble (male) and blue (female) and a blush (male) and Blue (female) pairs but I am down in Surrey / Hampshire border.
I can send photos to anyone interested?
