Lights on, lights off?
My blue silver/smokey pinoy paraiba spawn are 6 days freeswimming. I have kept the lights on 24/7 as mum and dad are serial egg/wriggler eaters. Is it now safe to turn the lights off?

Re: Lights on, lights off?
Judging from how well the parents are defending them, I would have thought you would be OK to turn the lights off. But don't make them go "cold turkey", make sure there's a little light in the room when the tank lights go out, and make sure the lights go off at the same time each night, so they can get use to when "bedtime" is!

Thanks Rob. I leave the curtains open at night and there's a street lamp right in front of the window. Would this be sufficient?

I put the lights out last night and all seems fine. What a relief.
