What a nightmare. Fortunately I haven't experienced a cracked or leaking tank yet. What did you do Ghipsi? Move the fish to another?

Luckily I like to keep a few tanks empty or with just a few young Angels in to keep filters mature, so it was a quick shift around of fish & all ok.

Re: And Pop goes the tank.......
It's only happened to me once (touch wood!)
I was in the dining room and i suddenly heard the filter blowing the water across the tank like i had left a tap on, i ran in the living room and the water level had dropped about 2 inches.
Opened the doors underneathh and the water was coming down the back wall so i got 2 big buckets and kept switching them over emptying the water.
I didn't know where the tank had leaked, so it could have stopped anytime, well it didn't until it got to the bottom, the crack was in the base!
Wouldn't want all that hassle again!

Oh this is my ultimate nightmare! I have one 350L in my front room and no "spare" tanks big enough for my fish.
