Hi...nice to meet you all
Glad to have found a decent community thats UK based.
I live in Cambridge and have been keeping freshwater and marine fish for over 40years and have successfully bred Angels, Discus, marine clownfish and green chromis amongst others. Fast approaching retirement age I'm turning my attention to Angelfish genetics. I find P Scalare particularly fascinating because of the infinite varieties available these days. I'm now on my 3rd generation of Platinum Blue angels, having greatly increased the amount of blue in their finnage. I have an ADA 20 gallon tank in my living room where I breed some of my Angels and allow them to keep their young for 2 months. Here is a Youtube video taken last month of the latest batch:

I also have a couple of hundred gallon grow on tanks and a dozen 20 gallon breeder tanks.First question I'd like to ask members is: "Does anybody know a good retailer specialising in high quality Angelfish within 50 miles of Cambridge?" I'm keen to introduce some new bloodlines into my breeding stock.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to convo's with some of you in the future.

Thanks......I agree but this tank is a compromise. Its purposefully set up for ease of maintenance (when my dear wife has to look after it while I'm abroad on business). Also, plants need a substrate and I stopped using substrate in all my tanks years ago).
