Picked up a new pair of Angels last night, they're supposed to be a breeding pair. Hoping to get them into their own tank iminently. The male is a fair old size, the previous owner did an excellent job of raising them and had some real monster Angels in the tank.

They're just wild types but I have been after some for a while so they fit the bill quite well.

Hi David,
That's one chunky fish!
The fish that's side on to the camera appears to be a zebra rather than a wild type, and from the belly, it's either the female, or very greedy!

It is indeed a massive chunky fish but was no where near the biggest in the tank. Shocked

I am waiting to see their ovipositors before I'm confident of sex. The guy seemed genuine so I have no reason to doubt, but their body shapes do appear to be pretty much the same other than one being a lot bigger than the other. The big one is nearly an inch thick!!!

Both fish are the same so both must be Zebras. Thanks for the I.d. Smile

These have now moved to their own breeder tank.
