making a difficult decision
Hi all ... as the title suggests I'm trying to make a difficult decision. Since losing my male angel my female is living alone (meaning without other angels). Some days she seems ok, other days she seems a little stressed. She's charging the other community fish at feeding times some days (not every day though). I'm trying to figure out if she's coping without her mate.
I will be moving home in the next 8 weeks and from what I can tell of my brand new house so far it's doubtful if I will have the space for my 4ft tank. I've viewed the place very briefly and it's not large by any means... but then room sizes are hard to judge without a tape measure.
I'm trying to decide if I should bite the bullet and re-home my female angel.
My lfs have said they will help re-home her if I come to that decision but I'm worried where she might go - ie: to someone who will mistreat her and I can't handle that thought.
I thought I'd post here for some advice and the possibility that someone here may be interested in taking her on. I know you guys here know your angels and if I could find her a great home with someone here I might be able to take a deep breath and let her go.
I never knew you could get so attached to a fish. Seeing her go is gonna upset me so much but if I have to down size on tank size then keeping her in a too small enviroment is cruel and I can't be cruel either
Hoping someone can advise
