Sometimes if you can get into the hood you can replace the ballast and that will fix things for 15 pounds (2x58 watts).
33 pounds is still better than 100 pounds for a new one though, thrifty!

Thanks Dean. It's just easier the other way. Don't want to put hubby out too much! As I said before, he's not keen on my having a tank again.
