Just a quick hello,

I'm based in Huddersfield and would like to start breeding angel fish again. I say again, because about 20 years ago I took an interest in marbled angels, had a few pairs and after a few failings, managed to raise some fry. Sadly I was due to move house and work and family life kinda got in the way - 20 years later and I still love angel fish!

I only have one angel at the moment because - I'm finding it hard to source fish that I feel happy with - I don't know if it's just me, but visits to local pet shops just don't inspire me. So I hope to find some similar minded people here.

What's your passion?

Similar story to yours, first tried breeding angels in the late 1980's, Marbles, golds & koi were my passion then. House move and family life prevented me getting back into them, until 2007/8 when we extended our house & I was able to incorperate a fish room. Since then I've ended up with a huge number of varieties. at the moment I'm particularly excited by the Philippine blue gene, and the prospects for exciting new varieties that offers. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite variety, but marbles, and now blue marbles, would definitely be up near the top.

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll find plenty of similar minded people here!
