Hi Simon,
It depends what you mean by "pure".
I have 5 nice adult blacks of which two are female.
Two of these are very definitely not pure they're D/+ - S/+ - Sm/+ - +/a - +/pb and one of them has a streaked gene to boot, the rest are either siblings of this pair, or offspring from them, this includes the second female who is much darker than either of her parents and is therefore, I suspect, D/D. I don't think she's inherited streaked, I think there's at least one smokey gene present, but what other genes are lurking under that dark exterior is anybody's guess.
She's £19.90. If you're interested, let me know & I'll reserve her for you. We've quite a lot of other adults here at present including koi, gold marbles, smokeys and a couple of blues so plenty more to tempt you with!

Rob
I have a huge DD Black Male that is a real buster of a fish and he needs a female. I was breeding him with a veil Black but she must of been from Marble descent as the off spring produced mainly silver fish, when observed closely out of the water you could make out very slight marble genes in her, hence my search for a pure DD Black female.
I will try and pop down to have a look at what you have as I am now getting heavily into my angel breeding

Congratulations, at least both are protective, I find that sometimes things will settle down once the wrigglers go free swimming, provided he doesn't get too aggressive towards her.
