There is more to Mum than i realised
The babies from my pairing of
Gabriel ( s/+ , v/+ ) stripeless veil tail male
and
Miss Haversham ( g/g, s/+, pb/pb ) platinum female
are just beginning to get sorted between those that i am going to keep and those that will find thier way to the LFS
Turns out that there is one gene in the pool that i didn't know about until now (as usual )
here is one of the blushing babies

Unless i am mistaken, the baby is showing definite signs of marbling and the dark edged dorsal and anal fins that i associate with gold marble.
So
Miss Haversham MUST be gm/g and NOT g/g as i thought, even though she is pure white and has no black marks at all.
There you go !
gibbo outsmarted by a fish again !

Gm? Maybe, but I'm not totally convinced, give them a few more weeks.
