Re: Where is everyone buying their BBS from?
Hi Jay,
After trying lots of places for Brineshrimp & finding lots of diferant prices & quality regards hatch rate etc i found that ZM SYSTEMS brineshrimp - price & hatch rate to be great as is the service they provide. But as they say you get what you pay for.As far as flake is concernd i like to suport my local aquatics shop but if he doesnt have the extra things like a specialised food then i use TA Aquaculture again i find them to be a great service & prices are good.

what kind of flake do you feed your angel fry? i have been using tetra but i find it to be so much money and all i seem to do is keep ordering the stuff. ive not had a problem with it at all though but just looking at lowering my overheads a little.

I think Tetra Min is going to give all your fry the best & all they need from a flake & even if you try mixing your own from different flakes the price will initially be high & until you have tried using them for a period of time & seeing the outcome you wont know if you have wasted your money or not trying.
I do use varied feeds for my fry but I had to go down the same route of trial & error I do like a lot of the ZM Systems products ie zm 100 & zm 200 etc for fry of 1& 2 weeks old & older but it depends what youre looking for in a fry food,i also like TA aquacultures granular & flake feeds but in the end I still go back to the good old tried & tested Tetra Min.
