Where is everybody?

It is very quiet on here.
Has everybody gone over to the dark side and decided to use facebook ?

There is quite an echo in here at the moment, personally I much prefer as forum to facebook, it's much easier to find and post information on a forum.

Exactly.

And , i can't quite put my finger on it but there is something about facebook that makes it very unappealing to me.

Ah.. but chaps.. if it wasn't for FaceBook alot of us newbies would never have found the forum.. So I have Rob to thank for that, and Gibbo to thank for my beautiful subs and veiled clowns (all doing great by the way ) I don't often post, as I'm trying to learn from you guys and read everything you write. It may be quiet in here, but believe me, your input is very much appreciated, both here and on FB.

I prefer using forums over facebook groups too as it's easier to find information and you don't have to scroll through tonnes of junk to find that snippet of good stuff that was posted a while ago. I mean a 6 month old thread would take hours to get to on a facebook group.

AFAIK, Tony was branching out to Discus and I'm not sure what Lisa is upto.

It's also worth pointing out that at the bottom of the index page, there is a list of all who've visited the site in the past 24 hours (13th at time of posting) and that doesn't include anyone who visits but doesn't both to log on. So although quite, there is still some "traffic"

I usually pop on and check active topics. When I end up working evenings, like this week and next week I have plenty of online time during my shift and spend more time on forums etc. Other times I use my phone and don't frequent forums as much as FB is much easier to check, get notifications etc.

May not be an active breeder but I'm still around. Just had 4 months in Scotland back for 2 weeks then back up to Scotland. Not bad ha. But I still keep my eyes on you lot and read most of the topics. that's when I have a signal to get on line.
