Sunset Paraiba with added Jellyfish!
This appears to be a sunset paraiba (ie blushing platinum) with a jellyfish gene added! http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?sid=5342

I'm sure sooner than later the laws banning genetically modified ornamental fish will be relaxed, thats really going to open up the varieties available for community tanks. Its difficult now to stock all the possiblities, god knows how many tanks will be needed to cater for this lot in the shops. I know there'll be some purists that'll not touch these kinds of things with a barge pole....but for the majority who just want something bright and colourful it'll increase the selection considerably. As long as there's no torture or detriment to the health of the fish I have no objection to the sale of these......

Yes, I have mixed feelings about them.....
On the one hand it seems very unnatural, but on the other they have to be preferable to dyed fish.....
....and on the third, very useful, genetically modified hand, if I found a fish looking like this as a "natural" mutation, I'd be very excited, and have no qualms about breeding it.
All that said, aesthetically, they're not my favorite!
