the age of angelfish
Hi all
Another question!
When young angelfish are for sale on the net
they are referred to as the size of 50p.
How old are they when the size of 50p?
All the best.
Jim.

Angel Size
Hi Jim
Welcome to Angel mad people, the answer to your question is it depends on how often you feed
and what strain of Angel,s you have but as a rule four months is about the norm.
Cheers Tony of (Tony,s Angels )

Re: the age of angelfish
Hi Jim,
I agree with Tony, the only thing I'd add, is that with any batch you will find some fish that seem to grow much faster than the rest, and others markedly slower. If possible, seperate them based on size, into two or three tanks at about 6 to 8 weeks old to prevent the smallest from being pushed off the food.
