My blue female/gold male pairing

Hi everyone,

My blue female that I got from Rob spawned again with one of my gold males in my adult community tank this time. Had no choice but to remove the leaf and raise them myself since I want to get a good batch of these to see what I get.

My first spawning with my other gold male didn't fair too well, they didn't seem to be anywhere near as hardy as other colour varieties I breed.

This time I've had a good hatch and they are feeding and growing well.

The female has a gold gene, so half the offspring should be golds, the other half will depend on what genes the male might be hiding.

The female is a ghost too, so she carries a single stripeless gene. Those fry are obviously thriving under your care.
