Dark, Gold, Marble and Gold Marble are all alleles - this means they are different mutations of the same gene. It has long been reported that gold marbles fish can produce the odd black individual, the exact mechanism by which this happens is not known, but a good bet is that the gold marble gene is rather unstable and prone to mutating and that when this happens, on occation a black individual will result....
I've named this one Sheep, as he's the only pinoy the rest of his siblings are platinums, platinum marbles, paraiba koi, and paraiba sunsets, as both parents are platinum marble ghosts (Gm/g - S/+ - pb/pb).
