There must be a easier way!?!?
Ok when it came to taking the fry away from the parents it wasn't fun at all.... First I tried to sython them out with a piece of tube. That was a pain. So I thought something thicker would be better so I cut a piece of hose pipe. Again no joy. In the end me and my dad with a net Corning the little buggers with nets! All while the mum was biting me lol. What way works best for you?
Also my pair have laid again but 90% of the eggs are white... Any reason for this? Thanks.

I use 2' x 12" x 15" tanks for breeding, I usually remove the parents when the youngsters are about 2 - 3 weeks free swimming. Then depending on the size of the batch, and the tanks I have available, I either move the whole batch at about 6 weeks, or leave some in the original tank and split others into a second tank.
