A few babies

Just thought I'd post some photos of the babies from this pair...

Mum is a sunset paraiba (aka blushing platinum)

She's sister to my blue chocolate so might well have a smokey gene or two herself.

Dad is a chocolate clown with a gold gene


To further complicate the genetic mix, some of the babies were albinos (but I lost those this time around)
So
Mum is g/g - S/S - Sm?/Sm? - +/a - pb/pb
Dad is +/g - S/Z - Sm/Sm - +/a - +/pb

Each of the surviving babies has a 2/3rds chance of having a hidden albino gene...






These guys are about 7 weeks old, so not the fastest growing, but I'm pleased with the way they're coming on
