No Longer a Shipping Virgin

As mentioned in my "Posting Angelfish" thread I needed to send six het pb ghosts to UK bulldog. Well, yesterday I bagged them and packed them as per Ian_b's and Ghipsi's advice. They were posted at 12.45 om and arrived safe and well at their destination at 11.45 am today. UK bulldog informed me they arrived in good condition and with no signs of stress.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Ian_b and Ghipsi for their help, with which the angels probably would have been DOA.

This has given me the confidence to list my angels on eBay with the option of posting, thus allowing me a bigger buying public.

Well done mate,i bet you was worrying until you had confirmation they had arrived safe and well,i always do and ive posted hundreds of fish out. Glad its give you confidence to start offering posting it will massively increase your customer base. Whats your ebay name or put up a link to your ebay selling page..you may see an order from me now your posting..haha

Glad they arrived safely.

Helen the fish are in great shape & as i said they didn't show any signs of stress or discomfort, the were packed realy well.They have great body shape & finnage so i take my hat of to you for breeding & delivering some stunning fish.On inspection this morning all 6 are swimming around quite happily & took food with no problems so all i can say is a BIG THANK YOU HELEN & i hope you now feel comfortable posting out your stock as i'm sure you will get lots more requests for you to post & your sales should increase.

Thanks Paul. I'm just relieved they arrived in good shape and you are happy with them.

I knew they would be hungry as they hadn't been fed since Tuesday on ghipsi's advice.

As I said, I'm going to list on eBay, and I'll put some in Aquarist classified too. I'm going to use the money raised to buy a couple of small growout tanks and a stacking shelf. Oh happy days!

Who did you use to post the fish? that is a good delivery time!

Hi Jimmy. I used Royal Mail Next Day Delivery. They guarantee to deliver before 1.00 pm.

thanks I normallu use express 24, but see there is a price difference! what weight are you allowed up to ?

Up to 2kg is £9.05 and up to 10 kg is £22.70.

thanks for that, express 24 is normally £18 i believe up to 10kg.
