Len Calling
Please do keep me informed as to how you progress in these fascinating glimpses I have witnessed in the past few days.
Time and hard work
I am starting to follow behind starting with mu Smokey Blues which I rate as nice, goiung to see what I can come up with over the next couple of years
May well take a drive down in the turn of the year on one of my buying trips
All the very Best mate and good luck with the specials.

Re: Smokey Blushing Angel
I thought it might be a good time to update this with some more photo's I've just taken. My male is looking a little battered as his lady is considering a spawn and she kicking the you know what's out of him at the moment but they are quite coloured up right now. Anyway, enough waffle here's the photo's of my pride and joy

You're getting better with your camera!
I'm really not sure about big nuchal humps, personally it's something I try to avoid breeding for, but I have a sneaking, fondness for that "flowerhorn" look. If that male was human he'd be a bouncer with a name like 'arry and have an East London accent

the thing is ... he's such a wimp! He just sits there and lets the female batter him, he never fights back. His fins are tatty from her battering him for the last couple of weeks and I'm not surprised his hump and chest are so big when she spends most of the day pecking at both lol
I do love em though, they're such characters ... I took loads of photo's and got just these three decent one's. Every time I go near the tank they fly to the front and start giving me the evil eye. It's a real 'wot you lookin' at' look....
Thanks for the kind words. I have two camera's I have an old Canon powershot compact and a new Nikon Coolpix and the Canon point and shoot takes far nicer photo's than the Nikon bridge camera. The Canon has an aquarium setting which is really good and so I think that is why I get better results. I'll still never be able to take photo's as good as you do. My Dad has sat with me with both camera's and explained the settings over and over but it just won't go in to my brain. I just don't get it
