Hi from Oxford
Hi Everyone,
I'm pretty new to the hobby. Got my first tank and had it set up for 5 months now with some swordtails and a few synodontis.
I've recently been given the green light by my LFS that my water has been stable enough for long enough to get some Angels which I've been longing to keep, but I'm hoping to find something a bit more interesting than the Angels in the LFS.
I recently bought a couple F3 Rio Nanays and Manacapuru Red Backs from a breeder near me, and so far after a week or so they are doing fine. I saw some others that look unusual and stunning on the site Spanglefish.com but when I contacted the breeder she said she was no longer breeding, but advised me to put a post up on here.
I wonder if any breeders on here have any more unusual and beautiful angelfish than the standard one available in the local fish stores. If so, if you wouldn't mind getting in touch that would be awesome!
Thanks
Tim

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I don't have much available at the moment, but hopefully will have some interesting fish on offer in a few months. So watch this space.

Hi Pterophyllum!
I'm glad you responded! The breeder I spoke to recommended I get in touch with you, but apparently I haven't posted enough to send you a PM yet. If you have a website, or any photos of your fish I'd love to see.
Thanks
Tim

Re: Hi from Oxford
You'll find a lot of my photos on this site under particularly in the photo section & here :-
http://www.uk-angelfishforum.org.uk/t384-robs-fish-room-tales
But you can also check out my photobucket pages https://s1213.photobucket.com/user/Pscalare/library/?sort=3&page=1
to be honest, my fish haven't been that co-operative of late, and I've had a lot going on, so haven't had chance recently to point the camera at them, but I do have a few interesting ones coming on, and I'm hopeful that a few of the pairs I have together at the moment will deliver in the coming months.
