OK Phil, I'm hoping one of these will show what you need
Do try and talk us through your method, I know I struggled to get it last time you tried, but we can always hope....
As to my avitar, he was a young male, he is, of course, still male, but not quite so young now, but tending wrigglers as I type.

Ummmmmmmmmm a bit to close, my technique is all done by sight and imaginary lines (I'll explane later) but I'll give it a go for you but please don't rely on it as 100% true, because out of the 5 pictures of the same fish. As silly as it may sound to some, 4 are showing as as male and 1 as a female. Never mind how much I study those pictures that one of a female is defiantly throwing me.
I'll be glad to and will make a topic on sexing angels as soon as I can. You see I have one problem. I can't get any pictures uploaded. It's not like the other site and I am not that computer literate. I have read and read all that you all have been saying about loading pictures, but urrrrrrrr I cant even up load my own sketches which is what I need to do to explane the sexings. But when I have mastered the technique I'll start the topic for you all.

Re: Phil, please can you sex my Angels?
Well we have a definitive answer on my fish......
....drum roll.......
....SHE laid eggs today!
She was looking very fat and rather female this morning, this evening, she is much slimmer and trying to defend a rapidly dwindling cluch of eggs. Also her breeding tube is still sufficiently down that I can be 100% confident.

Hi Paul,do you have a mate lined up for her.
I was really pleased with the batch that this particular fish comes from, all are heterozygous for philippine blue, so paired with the right partner she should give me some nice blue marbles amongst other things.
In addition to her I've kept about 6 of her siblings. Her brother is the father of my blue marbles, see this thread
Blue Marbles
Whilst this one has also proven to be a female:-
and with her partner:-
they are currently tending a large shoal of babies. As both of these are het. for pb, they too should give me a few blue marbles.
However whilst blue is a big focus for me at the moment, It's not my only objective. I'm also keen to try to get more red into my fish, and all of the ones I've kept showed strong red dorsals when younger, they also seem to be developing a lot of "blue glitter" now they're older.
So my plan is to mate this fish with with one of her brothers, and then use their offspring for crosses to their cousins.
However any hope of pairing her in the near future is slight. I only have 12 tanks and am already in serious danger of becoming seriously overcrowded. With the Summer holidays coming up as well, it will probably be the autumn before I get the chance to try pairing her up!

Hooray. I got it right, I got it right. What's my prize? I said it was a girl!

I have to admit your blue marbles are stunning to say the least so does this mean that you may put some of these amazing fish on general sale sooner rather than later.
The colour you acheive in your fish stands them out from the rest Rob so you must be proud of what you have acheived so fare not that youre one to blow your own trumpit but i would be jumping with joy.
I'm sure the autumn will come soon enough & you will be telling us how youre getting on. I for one cant wait to see what you produce so i wish you well with these stunning mables.

You get to join the SSAS (society of Successful Angelfish Sexers) and to use honorific title of "Trainee Phil"I got it right. What's my prize?
I already have some of their siblings on sale ie silvers, blue silvers, ghosts, blue ghosts, smokeys, blue smokeys and marbles. I anticipate that some of the blue marbles will go on sale in about 3 weeks time, but only very limited numbers.so does this mean that you may put some of these amazing fish on general sale sooner rather than later.
Your words are both kind and flattering, but a little undeserved. Take a look at the various threads on TAF II and you'll see that the blue marbles Carol has and the one Ken posted a photo of, are at least equal, and probably better than mine. The colour you acheive in your fish stands them out from the rest
