Personally I find it easier to use photobucket, but it is possible insert a photo without first having it in your gallery. To so so, you need to use the Host an Image icon to the left of the insert an image one, it's all a bit of a fiddle, I have explained it elsewhere in more detail, if you find you're struggling let me know and I'll try to find the thread!
