Hi Justin,
It appears to be a smokey blushing veiltail, I suspect it may be a bit young to sex, but my guess is that it's a female

Thanks for that Rob,
I purchased 2 angels from you in March - a black veil tail with some blue in it and a blue smokey - both doing well.
I have also got along with them some smaller platinum blues but I think they are too young to sex.
How are your blue marbel juveniles doing?

Re: what type of angle is this?
Hi Justin,
I've a great batch of blues coming along, although all blues they are very mixed as father was a blue leopard ghost with a hidden gold gene, and mother was a smokey blue marble ghost, consequently I'm getting everything from blue zebras to smokey paraiba marbles, blue marble leopards to blue ghosts. The net effect of this, is that growth rate is very variable and in most cases somewhat slower than I would ideally like. None the less I should have some nice blue marbles available in about 1 month. (about 1 moth later than I anticipated!)

Many thanks for posting that pic. It's a really great little specimen. I love the tail markings.and the sky blue crown
Well done!
I'm looking into the exporting of some of HC orange koi from mellows aquatics in the states. I've spoken with them about FedEx ing some and have filled out the appropriate forms for customs. So still very much at "the looking into it stage" but will let you know how I get along if you are interested

Re: what type of angle is this?
I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect the issue you will come up against is that of obtaining suitable health certificates, but if Mellow are able to help on that front, then I'll be very interested to see what what you get. I regularly drool over the fish on the mellow site.I'm looking into the exporting of some of HC orange koi from mellows aquatics in the states. I'll be interested to hear how the costs are going to work, and I'm sure any offspring will be very popular.
