Koi with his Mojo back
My Koi male had lost his Mojo after loseing a female he had been bonded with.It has been some months since the loss of my Koi female & no mater how many females i tried to put him with he just did not want to know.He would watch them lay eggs & just ignor them as if he was greaving for the female he had lost, so he had been put in my stock tank with others that were to be grown on.Until today as i had also put a smokey blushing female that i had received from Helen in the same tank.I went to work this morning just to find on my return that she had spawned again & he was doing his job fanning the eggs along with her & both fending off all the others in the tank. There is no chance that any will survive but its great to see that he is back to his old self & doing his job.

They can take a while to adjust to the loss of a mate, glad he has!

To be honest i was begining to wonder wether he was going to get it back as he has really ignored every female he has been with, but i'm really pleased as he is a gentle giant & a great parent raiser he is allways willing to raise his young & will go without food to do so.
