I bought a packet of frozen bloodworms for when my angelfish start to pair off. At the minute I'm feeding them 2-3 times a day and I'm giving them a pinch of tropical flakes each time. Anyway lets get to the point, I read from quite a lot of places on the internet that by feeding them live/frozen foods encourages them to spawn? - TURE OF FALSE

I find it does have a positive effect, mainly I think because the fish eat loads because they LOVE it.....this extra food can be used to produce eggs/milt and bring fish into condition sooner. Good quality flake and pellet will also work but the fish don't always 'stuff' themselves if its their staple diet.
