Angel Fish finally found
Hi Folks,
I was on my way home from work yesterday and called in at my local Maidenhead Aquatics to pick up some live blood worms. But had a quick look at the tanks to see what was in and low and behold there was some nice looking angels. I told the guy that I was very fussy and he would have to catch the ones I wanted. I've now got two nice looking silver (scalare) which have nice straight fins and bright red eyes, they are only 1 1/2" long at the moment but I'm hoping they turn into brilliant adults.

Hi Folks,
I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to technology, but if I can work out how to load on some photos I'll do it.

Hi folks,
I thought you might be interested in an update on how my two new angels are getting on. I can now inform you that they are really doing well, having all most doubled in size in just 4 weeks. They must be enjoying my once a week treat of chopped garden worms and also the inclusion of dried blood worms and Tetramin flake.
I also know now how difficult it is to take photo's of a subject that won't stay still. They come up to the glass once they notice me and sway to and fro until the feed is presented, and even then they don't stay still and pose for long enough!!!

best way I've found to photograph mine is to wait until evening, turn off the telly and the room lights so the room is completely dark. Set the macro on the camera to on, turn the flash off (it will just bounce off the glass) if you have an aquarium setting on your camera then use that, if not auto mode is okay. Then sit in front of your tank and get comfy, if you are moving around the fish will react so if you just sit still they'll eventually forget you are there. Then it's time to take loads of photo's ... be prepared to have loads of blurred or rubbish ones though. It's not the first time I've taken 50 photo's and only had 5 or 6 photo's that I was happy with.
We'd love to see them
