Hi
I hope someone on this forum can give me some sound advice on the above! It appears we have some angel fish eggs on the leaf of one of our plants (about 100 of) The two fish are very protective of these and it looks like these may be in the process of being fertilised. As I have other species of fish in the tank too Im not too sure what to do in this situation I'm not a novice at keeping aquarium fish but I am a novice in this situation.....any advice appreciated.

Nick

Well there isnt much to do. This is the better - but most expensive way. Get a new tank and move others in...
Or what I'd do. Pull the eggs. Accuatly that wouldn't work either as you'd need another tank. I'm afraid their is much you can do rather than let them raised them in the tank. But then at some point the parents are going to let their guard down and the other fish will tuck in. Sad

theres nothing you can do unless you have another tank. forget about the eggs that have been laid now they will get eaten either by the parents or other fish. you could get another small tank put the breeding pair in there and let them breed in their own tank but then youll need another for the fry.

or you could sell the breeding pair and use the money to replace with some other angels.
